1990 World Fantasy Convention Guests of Honor

F. Paul Wilson was the Guest of Honor at the 1990 World Fantasy Convention in Chicago. His featured presentation was an hour-long interview session, which was host by Joe Lansdale hisownself. With Paul's and Joe's permission, I recorded the session with the intention of publishing a transcript of it in an issue of Lights Out!, the Robert McCammon newsletter I was publishing at the time. Unfortunately, the newsletter ended before I could run the transcript.
I recently came across the tape of that session and, with F. Paul Wilson's permission, present an MP3 of it here for your listening pleasure. The quality is so-so: it was recorded on a microcassette recorder, but the good news is that the recorder was on the table right in between Paul and Joe. I've cleaned it up as best I could.
The MP3 file is 56 minutes long and was encoded at 64Kbps, resulting in a file size of 26MB. In other words, if you have broadband, it'll take a while to download it, and if you have dial-up, you can expect to wait a long time. However, if you're a fan of Joe Lansdale or F. Paul Wilson, it's worth the wait.
